It is always important to remember that avoiding a relapse should be a lifelong commitment process. There are times when individuals will go several years without drinking and something will trigger that desire. When people follow the recommendations listed in this article, they will be increasing the likelihood of successful abstinence. It will definitely take a lot of willpower, and hard work, but avoiding a relapse is possible at any time.
